Evensong in Rochester
On Easter Monday (18 April 2022) we sang Evensong at Rochester Cathedral. The service included Herbert Howells’ Collegium Regale, Wood’s O Thou the Central Orb and Parry’s My Soul there is a Country.

Buxtehude to Boombidah!
On 5 February 2022 we joined forces with the Cosine Players and guest soloists Sara Pay and Panaretos Kyriatzidis. Not one of our pieces was sung in English and composers ranged from Mozart, Padilla and Buxtehude to Davies and Hindemtih.

Our programme about secret messages on 8 February 2020 featured a special guest, Alfie from BYMT, on saxophone.

Unity in Division
We celebrated the solo talents of some of our members in our concert on 12 October 2019, and, after hearing the men sing alone, and the women sing alone, combined in ten parts in Scarlatti’s glorious, Stabat Mater.

To celebrate 25 years of our choir, we were joined on 15 June 2019 by several former members, some of whom travelled from afar (even New Zealand!) to make a huge sound in Parry’s I Was Glad and other items. Lo, the Full, Final Sacrifice
As well as singing Finzi’s wonderful anthem, we sang Britten’s Hymn to St. Cecilia and all (yes all!) of Parry’s Songs of Farewell, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of their premiere. Anna Davey was our guest soloist, playing Bloch’s “Rapsodie” from Suite Hebraique on viola with passion and commitment.

Magnificent Magnificats
On 20 October 2018 we performed two versions of the Magnificat – one by J.S Bach and the other by C.P.E. Bach. We were joined by some magnificent young soloists and the Cosine Orchestra.
